Creating Space for Me was launched as a creative outlet for me and a way to document my journey of self improvement. When I returned to work after my second maternity leave, I realized I needed to make some drastic changes in my life in order to function in my ‘new normal’. I started following a portion specific meal plan and working out six days a week. Over the course of a year I lost 50 pounds, regained my confidence and found I had a new sense of purpose.
I leveraged accountability partners and workout programs to achieve my weight loss goal. In doing so, I experienced a mental shift that has not only allowed me to maintain my weight loss results, but has also driven me to take a deep dive into some personal development and goal setting.
